Requirements
Taqvo runs on iPhone. Core workout tracking is free and does not require a card. Taqvo Pro subscriptions are billed by Apple through the iOS App Store; GCash works as an App Store payment method in the Philippines when it is connected to your Apple account. An account is optional — you can track workouts as a guest, stored only on your device.
Delete your account or your data
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app:
- Open Settings in Taqvo.
- Go to the data and privacy section.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
This permanently removes your authentication record, profile, workouts, Beacon history, social activity, settings, and stored photos. It cannot be undone. If you signed in with Apple, the sign-in grant is revoked too.
You can also delete individual workouts from your history, and export a copy of your data from the same data and privacy section before you go. If you cannot reach the in-app option for any reason, email support@taqvo.app and we will handle it for you.
Common questions
My route looks wrong, or distance seems short
GPS needs a clear view of the sky, and accuracy suffers indoors, in tunnels, among tall buildings, and under heavy tree cover. Give the app a moment to get a fix before you start. Check that Location is set to While Using the App and that Precise Location is on, in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security. Low Power Mode reduces GPS precision to save battery.
Tracking stopped when my phone locked
Taqvo keeps recording in the background during an active workout. If it stopped, check that Location permission is granted and that Low Power Mode did not end the session early.
My watch workouts are not showing up
Taqvo imports workouts your watch wrote to Apple Health. In iOS Settings, open Health, then Data Access & Devices, then Taqvo, and make sure the workout, route, heart rate, distance, and energy categories are enabled. Then run the import again from your history.
Who can see my Beacon link?
Anyone who has the link can watch that workout while it is active — that is what makes it work without an app on their end. Send it only to people you trust. The link stops working when the Beacon ends, and expires on its own after that. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Is Beacon an emergency service?
No. It lets someone you choose watch a workout in progress. It does not call for help and nobody at Taqvo monitors it. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number.
Who can see my profile and workouts?
Your profile and workouts start private, and stay that way until you share them. You can change what is visible in Taqvo's Settings, under privacy.
What is Together, and can I use it?
Together lets you plan a workout with one other person and compare how it went afterwards. It is part of Taqvo Pro, with a one-month free trial for eligible new subscribers. Start the trial in the app, then invite the person you want to move with.
How do I change or withdraw a permission?
Open iOS Settings, find Taqvo, and change Location, Motion & Fitness, Contacts, Photos, or Notifications. Apple Health permissions live in the Health app, under Data Access & Devices. Taqvo keeps working with permissions turned off; you simply lose the features that need them.
Report a problem or abuse
To report content, harassment, or someone misusing a Beacon link, use the report option in the app or email support@taqvo.app. We review reports and can remove content or restrict accounts. If you believe someone is in danger, contact your local emergency number first.
Security issues are welcome at the same address — please give us a chance to fix a vulnerability before disclosing it publicly.
